The realization that emulating the Drosophila nervous system to a quadcopter requires that I connect a lot sensors to the system including compass and accelerometers from the flight controller. Making Drone-sophila self aware! More to come.

I tested the Drosophila Central Complex on a Raspberry Pi 5 and it worked great! It might be a little slower than my Intel i7 laptops but the fact that works at all is amazing and exciting. Now if I could get more RPi 5s, I could easily do a full Drosophila emulation.

I had a break thru with emulations on a lab level. My next step is to apply to robotics. If it works out as planned, then emulating the Drosophila nervous system will be next. All in SWaP (Size, weight and Power) which is the holy grail.

I'm not sure I've done AGI but I have definitely shown Mecho Generalization using connectomics. I think its important to be honest and using terms that involve Artificial and Intelligence seems dishonest when what we are doing is neither?

I always had a certain amount of respect for Hinton to give him his due but the crap he spewed on his 60 minutes interview was unbelievable. I don't know if he really thinks the highly of himself or he's totally blind. I lost any respect I had of him this evening. Sad.
