I've shipped more PRs in 6 months than the last 6 years, thanks to Cursor. I'd never “yolo-ship” high ambiguity, large scale changes without pairing, but for simple frontend tweaks it’s a game-changer. Higher quality, and faster velocity. Frees up eng for harder problems.

the first time experience for TO Bikeshare has room to improve, 1. download a Bikeshare App > should be mobile web 2. sign up w/ email > phone sign up is less friction on mobile 3. email 2FA > could be SMS 2FA 4. payment input with no auto fill > support Apple Pay/G Pay instead

I've found, Anglo-Canadians can equate "directness" with rudeness. It can be done thoughtfully - the entire basis of diplomacy and democracy is to create space for productive, civil disagreements. Like any skill, it takes practice to do well, and requires mutual trust.

🎂 I'm turning 30 today - this is what it looks like, - sticking to a limit of 1 drink a week - way less anxious at saying no - way less upset being told no - getting insoles for every pair of shoes - actually stretching before and after exercising - tailoring all my t-shirts

learned for me the biggest barrier to doing things is "mental bandwidth" - I intuitively know there's more important problems to be solved first I put off sending a 140 char LinkedIn message for 2 weeks due to home furnishing + lack of proper rest. anyone else feel the same?
