Haven’t talk much about it but a book I’m two years into researching is the 1936 crash of American Airlines Flight 1 in #Arkansas. It remains the state’s deadliest crash with evidence emerging a passenger may have intentionally brought it down #writerslife #WritingCommunity

Watched a segment on @CNN on attempts in Texas to ban books from school libraries. Takes me back to that scene from Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade to that monster’s rally where bonfires of book burnings were occurring. Thought we were better than this #FReadom #writerslife

So much devastation across my home state of #Arkansas last night. One of the hardest hit areas was the small town of Leachville. I recall visiting the town while writing my book "Elvis in Arkansas." #Elvis played the high school gym there in January 1955. My prayers to them all.
