My latest paper (in CRISPP) examines whether the ‘facts’ of our real world matter for philosophical theorising. I’m sympathetic to making philosophy relevant to the world, but also suspicious of people taking ‘their facts’ as ‘the facts’ of the world. tandfonline.com/eprint/ESKDVMZ…

Proud of my College for its moral leadership on this matter. The Government's grade prediction process systematically disadvantaged those from less well-off backgrounds. "We have confirmed the places of all our UK offer-holders, irrespective of their A-level results."
