One thing you might hate about working with me but I’ll probably never change is I gotta know the details. I’m gonna peek at almost every doc, memorize impt data points, comment all up in ya figma, read the repo every now and then, emoji react 👀 a bunch of slacks.

Congrats to my friends at @reflectnotes on their 2.0 launch! I’ve gone through a handful of different note taking apps and settled on Reflect for the simplicity, speed, and focus on a great UX. Awesome to watch this little bootstrapped team iterate so quickly!

15 years ago today, a group of Ruby on Rails developers boarded @planetargon's "The Argon Express" in Portland, OR. We spent the next two days drinking and coding on the train until we arrived to very first @railsconf in Chicago.

Leaders must admit when they are wrong. They need to learn from failure. They need to be open to vastly different perspectives. They need to listen more than they speak. They must give constructive feedback on a timely basis. They need to remain calm when everyone is screaming.
