When was the last time you read a sun dial? Skills that we value die off, and that's ok. #AI tools like #chatGPT will do this as well. Skills that people value today will become obsolete. This will make teaching more difficult for some who don't adapt. linkedin.com/posts/activity…

Joke aside: this was a very interesting discussion point yesterday in our group meeting with @jpearson_upei : as humans, we are *extremely* well fitted for interpreting/extrapolating 1D/2D data. It is the high-D where machines will take the edge.
