We've offered phone and video support throughout the pandemic, hosted virtual breastfeeding cafes for practical and peer support, and set up a YouTube channel to provide quality info at the touch of a button 24/7 #strongfoundation #fabchange20 @nhsswft @Fabchange2020

Sad, but true. But @babyfriendly is doing a lot to counteract the lack of knowledge amongst health professionals. Thanks to them, midwives and health visitors, in particular, are much better informed than previously.

Not only does breastfeeding have benefits for mother and baby - there are huge benefits for our planet too. Breast milk is environmentally friendly, sustainable and free! Was this a factor for you when deciding to breastfeed? Has it given you food for thought? Let us know!
