💡 Non-technical people often get excited by what tech can do. Engineers worry about what it might do — if used wrong.
AI won’t replace you. But an engineer who knows how to use AI to solve real problems will. ❌ Obsess over tools ✅ Obsess over outcomes ❌ Wait for clean data ✅ Ship with reality ❌ Build for the tech ✅ Build for the business Mindset > model. Always.
Mentee: Will AI make me lazy as an engineer? Me: Only if you stop thinking. Seniors plan: – Break problems down – Design for change – Build for the business Use AI to speed up, not skip the thinking. That’s how you grow.
