What if we make all of our librarian positions 29 hours a week so we don't have to pay benefits? I suppose this means they don't get student loan forgiveness unless they get another librarian position that is 1 hour week. Not our problem though

So... Everyone knows that nobody is FORCED to check out books at a public library right? You can choose to check-out whichever books suit your family's beliefs, values, and ideas. If you don't like a book, don't check it out.

The Supreme Court has such an absurd amount of lifetime undemocratic power to wield. That’s why right-wing ghouls have been stacking it with fascists for years because they think no one can do anything about it. And when you accept this form of government, they’re right

Time to cut that checks and balances bullshit you learned in school out of your brain. The Supreme Court isn’t checking or balancing anything and it never has (even when it made rulings you agree with). 9 people should never have that much power

Before I became an attorney, I was a sex worker. It would have been so much harder for me to transition out of sex work if I had a criminal conviction. Decriminalize, decarcerate, and destigmatize sex work.

When the pandemic started, I had 2 boyfriends. It seemed like the right thing to do was to pare down to one because of the whole lockdown/minimizing contact with others thing, so I kept the one with the best apocalypse skills

Are there any cops even speaking out about the cowardice of Uvula cops? It’s seems like brave people are a lot more likely to go into Fire and Rescue or be an EMT. Policing attracts those with the desire to dominate and punish and those are never brave people
