Making good progress on my onboarding boilerplate. This is what it looks like from the finished component prospective. A bunch of premade pages that can be plugged in. For personalization quizzes, you just pass an object with questions & answer options

Setting up the backend system for the boilerplate. I am basically just building a simple app, and making everything in a way that can be easily reused. This project might take a month, but it will make every app after take 1-2 weeks.

1hr to build, 1 minute to reuse. It’s taking a while because I am planning and thinking in a different way. Before I thought: “quick now, don’t care if I have to remake later” Now I don’t care if it takes an hour, because it will be sooo easy to reuse later.

I redownloaded Instagram after not having the it for 2 years. Why? To learn. I’ve scrolled for 5 minutes and got my first lesson in marketing. People are drawn to content that makes them think: “That’s crazy! I wouldn’t try it, but it’s a thrill to watch.”

A week ago, I removed the calendar feature for the quit timers. Since I didn’t create them to handle the storing reset times, I didn’t want to waste hours on fixing it. As I started creating a production build, I realized this was a poor decision. I got it working in 2 hrs 😎

Fixed a lot of bugs today. Definitely in a flow state right now. Going to run through the app one more time. Make sure everything is set, then send the Testflight invites. While you all test the app, I'll work on getting it Appstore ready 🔥 It's finally happening!

Working on adding onboarding/guideing hints for once the user starts using my app. While it is pretty easy to understand, functionality, there are a few things that aren't clear (like clicking on the habit to see it's analytics) This system will also be useful later on

Taking the day off yesterday made me realize how much I enjoy working on my app. Having something to create gives me purpose. When I am stripped of that, even by choice, I feel incomplete. I’m very grateful to have something to dedicate myself to.
