We were pleased to welcome the Health Minister to our Belfast office today. With dementia cases in NI projected to rise by 51% by 2040, urgent action is needed. We look forward to working with @healthdpt and the SPPG to drive transformation in dementia care and support.

Productive meeting with Department of Health officials Dr. McBride, Peter Toogood & Mark McGuicken to discuss our report, 'Because We Are Human Too.' We highlighted our policy priorities for social care, mandatory dementia training & advocate to make dementia a priority.

It was great to speak @alzheimerssoc event yesterday where I reflected on the impact of dementia on those who live with it, and their loved ones, including in my own family. I spoke about how high quality care helps those with dementia live active & independent lives for longer.
