Someone should do a study of how many steps the typical manufacturing worker gets per day. I know warehouse workers in a highly optimized setting can easily walk 7+ miles a day just during working hours.

It’s a great development that the U.K. has lowered the legal voting age to 16. If you can operate a lethal machine (a car) at 16, you’re definitely capable of voting. The U.S. should do this too.

For personal reasons I cannot work in the solar industry. However, there's so much funding going into AI, I'm confident there's plenty available for independent power producers to directly power data centers without government subsidies.

I randomly came across this very useful chart from @CALFIRE_PIO related to a past problem I worked on. This problem & other extreme weather events aren’t going away anytime soon. I’m hopeful that AI using satellite imagery & cellular data will lead to better solutions.
