NY Times Connections game is a good test of GPT4’s ability to reason. Todays was hard (for me when I tried and then for GPT4). Might try again with different prompting and maybe some few-shot examples to see if that improves performance.

We used to talk about the “generation” of programming languages. 1GL = machine code, 2GL = assembly, 3GL = C, C++, etc. Not sure what generation number we’re up to, but with ChatGPT and it’s successors, isn’t the encoding language effectively English?
