Can't believe how many people are mad at me cause I felt bad about my neighbour being given bacon. Lol. Did not expect that to be controversial.

The food bank gave my neighbour bacon this week. She's Muslim. It's Ramadan. Come on guys. This is what's meant when we say food security ensures access to "culturally appropriate food." Everyone deserves food security.

Had the most pleasant interaction with an employee this morning when I called the CRA. He told me it was his second day on the job and he was nervous and sweaty. Lol. People can be jerks when they call the gov call centres. Don't be at it!! They're real people on the other line!

This was not as bad as Snowmageddon, but there was so much snow and ice on the traffic lights on Freshwater Road that I thought the power was out. It was impossible to tell red from green on about half the lights I encountered between downtown and Kenmount Terrace 🚦❄
