Vaccinate your kids. Specific for measles: a child with a measles infection can lose their immunity to other viruses they’ve already had and get reinfections. Happens because measles specifically attacks memory B cells. This doesn’t happen to children who receive the vaccine.

Lol @nytimes arguing for relaxing standards on harvesting organs so we can take them from people who are you know *probably* dead. And yeah sure there are concerns but those concerns are just *practicalities*. It remains possible they wouldn't happen! So that's reassuring.

Both pro-life women and pro-choice men get accused of taking their position on abortion primarily to impress the opposite sex. This parallel has made me (a pro-life woman) more hesistant to assume that motivation in pro-choice men.

I’m incredibly grateful for the public work @SenatorCollins did to protect PEPFAR and the many people it serves, particularly pregnant moms and their babies. No mother should fear she will pass on HIV when we have the tools to protect her child.
