I mean this with all due respect, and I never do this because music is subjective. But, if you are REALLY into music and don’t think Vampire Weekend “Only God Was Above Us” isn’t the best album of the year then you are crazy. I’m sorry.

Ok I’ll say it - I think it’s time to reevaluate Wu-Tangs criminally underrated album from 2000: “The W.” It’s not a banger start to finish like “36 Chambers” but when it hits it’s reminiscent of it.

1. The way he drags out “of” for both of the lines. 2. It has the best coda any song and there is no debate. The deep bass vocal is perfect. 3. And when he says “listen” at the end it just gets me every time. Every time. These are things I love about Farewell Transmission
