Cron vs Celery surprise: Cron job processing multiple PDFs = memory bloat. Celery tasks = stable memory. Why? Celery kills/recycles workers, cron doesn’t. Sometimes the “leak” is just your process living too long.

Spent more than one hour on an old mac to figure out why my app is not connecting to #supabase db with right connection values. Restart fixed it. Good to remember: Whenever weird network-related errors pop up and things work fine elsewhere → restart the dev environment first.
