A good outing with friends after 17 days of non-stop coding. Socializing is definitely important. Had a good time. Now rejuvenated for the next step in dev.
It's been a while since I tried to deploy an app with WebSockets on Next.js hosted on Vercel. Do issues with this still exist? Next.js for frontend only; Backend is separate. Any issues with hosting frontend on Vercel?
Finally cracked it! Spent all yesterday wrestling workflows, handlers, maps, pub/sub & Kafka. Tested it, grinned hard. Now, onto connecting the dots on the frontend. My first pub/sub, Kafka run, intended for prod--wish me luck? 🙂
What's the best way to manage your Redis cache keys? As my API grows more and more, I am constantly running through all my API routes to check and re-check cache invalidation. Any tips on how to manage this is much appreciated. Thanks!

I’m not using IDE integrated AI. I’m typing code myself, no tab tab tab. If I need AI to help summarize something or understand an issue in my code, I go to one of the websites they’re hosted on. I’m going slow, but I’m understanding every step thoroughly. Am I doing it wrong??

The more I talk to Grok, the more I read more relevant blog posts about what I'm trying to understand. Is Google search dead for humans? Looks like LLMs are primary targets for search engines now. SEO becomes king.
Developed a simple chat app to understand how HTTP servers, web sockets, redis and kafka work together in harmony. Programming is magic! I fell in love once again.
Is there any way to access environment variables globally (outside of fetch API) on Cloudflare Workers? I’m running a Hono server that’s using libraries, outside of context object, which requires access to secret keys. @honojs@Cloudflare
