I live in a world where everyone is trying to stand out from millions of other people, while I chastise myself for not fitting in.

Hadestown felt like a meta production that sold its soul as an Indie show to be a Broadway success. There was no impetus for Orpheus to turn around when he did except to fail. Audiences are so starved (like Eurydice) for good theater they eat up clumsy reinterpretations.

I’ve noticed a number of unfavorable (but not criminal) stories coming out about Prince Andrew lately. This seems like a P.R. attempt to distract from the rape accusation leveled against him. Canada must abolish its constitutional monarchy government.

In the dark recesses of my mind I remember being a child in the back room of Mr. Brown’s clock repair shop on Fisgard Street next to my dad’s barbershop just down from the Masonic Temple. I would play with a box of tiny gears, and on each hour, the clocks came alive.
