The best/worst thing about doing a degree in your 40’s is being up at 4am to finalise an essay because you are ‘keen’. 20’s you would only have been up at 4am if you were off your tits on ketamine and gurning ‘fuck no’ to whatever essay floated past your transcendal existence.
