Fibrinogen interacts w/ neutrophils & macrophages via integrin receptors. By binding fibrinogen, spike protein may disrupt immunological signals, impeding virus identification & clearance. This may cause chronic disease in some patients by prolonging viral persistence 12/
For years, my team has worked on the clots. We discovered an abberant coagulopathy and hypothesized that the spike protein was interacting with fibrinogen. Now, we have been proven correct.
