Sat., Feb. 16, 10:30 a.m. @ the Main Library in Burgaw: Sweetgrass basket weaver Kisha Kinard will discuss the history of one of America’s oldest crafts of African origin, passed down from generation to generation.
All fines incurred between Sept. 11 and Oct. 31 will be waived. For library materials damaged due to Florence, call 910-259-1234 for Burgaw or 910-270-4603 for Hampstead to discuss options.
Both locations are open as of on Tues., Sept. 25 at 10:00 am. We are not charging overdue fines until Mon., Oct. 1. Free Wi-Fi is available in the Burgaw location's parking lot.
Pender County Public Library will be closed Wed, Sept. 12 through the end of the week. Please do not leave books in the book drops while the library is closed for the hurricane. The Library will not charge overdue fines from now until Mon., Sept. 17.
