The pandemic seems to have made people more dogmatic in their beliefs. This makes good public discourse much more difficult. I hope we come back from this. I'm trying to do my small part by having long-form conversations on difficult topics with empathy & epistemic humility.

Be "with" instead of "in" your emotions. Witness them and let them ride alongside you, but do not get lost in the feelings and thoughts they create. They are only temporary and not who you "are".
