Take a good break in between each pass. Coming back with fresh eyes lets you see things you wouldn't have seen while working on it continuously.

I'm always more productive if I have to do 5-10 small tasks instead of 1 large task. Break it down into small easy steps and you'll get through it a lot quicker and easier, with less mental resistance.
