Update: there are no jobs left for us, so we have been asked to re-rank areas (which are very large) within an already large deanery, with no further guidance. We are meant to start work on 1st August.

During the strikes I’m reminded that I, for approx £22 per hour: - Am often the most senior surgeon overnight - Operate to remove your child’s appendix, your gallbladder or fix your hernia - Come in on days off to see how you are after I operated on you. My barber earns more.

@Bridgetbutler99 and @pritesh_v_patel find alcohol consumption rates have increased during lockdown and local patients are unsure of how to calculate alcohol units. A striking educational leaflet was created to tackle this and help identify harmful drinking.
