Aggressive short build up along with almost 18000 cr selling in equities by FIIs last week. However, domestic flows helped in trimming losses. Also, positioning seems to be on the extreme end, so covering move is expected.
For last few sessions, it’s more of consolidation and while Nifty has managed to hold the support levels, view remains same. With such high premium upsides should be limited. Range is 22300-800. Either side move beyond the range should give us another 500 points of movement.

Nifty premium is near 220 points (considering dividends) Retailers have created insanely long positions in May.. Not sure it bodes well for continued up move.. I believe we are looking at some consolidation in near term above 22300 below which longs should be avoided.
FIIs have one of the highest shorts in recent time Retailers are overwhelmingly longs.. That’s not just futures but options as well.. So whatever happens but today’s expiry should be exiting.. need to see some volatility

Global cues are harsh.. View was 22200 should be respected. With changed scenario, need time to adjust. No point in looking at next support or new resistance. When in doubt, stay out.
Sticking to the view of no further negativity. I believe market will try its best to close Nifty above 22200. If global cues supports, then recovery could be even better.
