So the rugby season has begun and the U15’s are go go go. Before the season always full of why bother am I any good etc etc but teaching the lads Gaelic with a scrimmage and the introduction of Sumo has been class. Their season theme: ‘Tough, quick and together .. and abit crazy.

Holidays are looming. Two random thoughts: i. Be with - be in the moment with those around you, don’t be distracted and absent. (For me I remember He, the great mystery, is with me) ii. Live sports (maybe over a certain sized) would be more enjoyable if the venue was booze free

Struggle to see why local sports clubs (not part of any pathway - other than maybe their own agenda) would choose to have performance squads with trials for U12’s U13’s etc. We wonder why so many kids stop playing……. It is pathetic. See it across many sports and clubs.
