@larsiusprime It's a doubly bad idea at state level, because interstate competition is higher. People can and will move but houses can't, which makes property/land tax ideal in those circumstances.

Just on WFH: Let's say it *did* have a one-off impact and lowered productivity. But people were happier, spent more time with family and less time commuting, used less energy in transportation, and got more exercise. I'd swap some productivity for increased quality of life.
