@anocash_xmr Unrestricted anonymity is key. Taxation is theft and everyone needs anonymous money to make theft by the state impossible. The ability to be anonymous and participate in free (black) markets that cannot be interfered with by the state is the whole entire point.

PoS might be tempting if you have a decent stack, but it comes at the cost of censorship resistance on protocol level. If we have to rely on social consensus (hard forks) to kick out a censor anyway, why bother with a security budget at all? Just go with the Nano model.
