Today I heard that the DfT are now blocking the transfer of train drivers from Southeastern to other operators. SE have been haemorrhaging drivers due to low salaries compared to other TOCs. A secretive, unlawful restraint of trade? #ASLEFunion #ASLEF #southeasternrailway

We're calling for dignity for drivers. To mark #WorldToiletDay we're launching a new report highlighting the lack of toilet and hygiene facilities for train drivers and the impacts this can have. As this driver said, it's degrading. It's time for change.

More than half of train drivers surveyed have had to request an emergency toilet break while. Many also shared concerns that if they call for an emergency break they would be disciplined. We're calling for Dignity for Drivers so that drivers can access toilets when they need to.
