Thanks to everyone at Royal Sussex County Hospital @BSUH_NHS for outstanding care provided in delivery of my baby grandson this morning. Every single person we met was brilliant and gave my daughter and partner a fantastic positive experience. NHS staff are brilliant😍

Listening to Thought For the Day on radio 4 about the support networks of friends, families, neighbours, teachers and communities, that help young people in particular to be successful. Got me thinking who is in your 'village' and how do we strengthen the help they can provide?

We don’t always take self-harm seriously but: - 50% of those who die by suicide have previously self-harmed - suicide is up 50-fold in 12m after going to A&E with self-harm - 1 in 50 attending A&E with self-harm have died within a year (My talk in Antrim today)
