“Well, that’s normal” is something people say often without the awareness that normal in our culture is highly dysfunctional. Addiction, lack of boundaries, toxic work cultures, and unhealthy relationships are so normal that many of us struggle to notice them.

Most relationships taught me the more chances you give people, the less they value you. They aren't afraid to lose you bcoz they know no matter what, you won't walk away. Don’t let anyone get too comfortable with disrespecting you. Love yourself & choose distance over disrespect.

Too many of us scan rooms for exits when we enter. Many have gone through the grim exercise of figuring out who would be our last call. Last night, kids at MSU made those calls. They worried for their lives, their friends, their fellow Spartans We can't keep living like this.
