The misconception that any line through the centroid of a 2D shape splits into equal areas is way too common. This is not true. Take a triangle and draw a line parallel to one of its sides through its centroid and it's obvious.

TIL CMake functions and macros defined in a CMakeLists.txt propagate to the parent scope. I have been using CMake exclusively for my C++ projects for more than 10 years...
