pinact solves the problem of malware inside GitHub actions (already happening in practice). It automatically pins actions to a specific commit (since regular version tags can be re-released) and updates them later. It’s like a lockfile, but for CI. github.com/suzuki-shunsuk…
Oxlint (@boshen_c) is just fucking impressive. A monorepo I work with daily has 779,307 lines of code. Despite tweaking and caching, ESLint was taking 1-3 minutes locally and up to 7 minutes in CI. Oxlint does that in 1-2 seconds locally and 4s in CI. We switched.
