Russia escalates, we do nothing, Russia escalates more, we do nothing, Russia escalates even more, we do nothing... guys, I think I am starting to see a pattern here.

When it comes to Ukraine no one should use the phrase "trading land for peace". The reality it will be "Strengthening Russia for when it comes back and attacks again" That is the reality.

Putin will smile when he sees today's EU announcements emphasising "negotiations". He will see this as our final abandonment of the aim of battlefield victory for Ukraine. We might as well tell the terrorists that they won. This isn't just concerning, it's devastating.

Leaders of Europe, What are you waiting for? There will be no miracle, no breakthrough, no sigh of relief. Putin is now wearing camo. Take his frozen assets. Sanction Russia as much as possible. Fully arm, fund and integrate Ukraine asap. Dithering merely increases the cost.
