Okay, so I'm staying off the radios and just listening for now until I know more about what happened here. By the looks of the locks on the personnel's sleeping quarters, there isn't any sigh of forced entry, so people either gave up or all were in on it.

I managed to translate some of the notebook, but it seems they were using a type of code to talk about events. Bottom line: they planned for something, and it happened. Not sure why they would be so clumsy as to leave the notebook behind. Maybe there are more clues in other rooms

Managed to follow one of the "conspirators'" movements from the video feed to the point where they went to their private quarters. I opened the door from the control room and searched through it. I found a notebook, but again, it's in an unknown language. I have to translate it.

Found a few more videos, but this person doesn't appear in any of them. Started tracking the people the person talks to; you can definitely see they are discussing something, and it's not just idle chatter. All the cameras were taken offline long before the attack, it seems.

I found something: there's a strange person walking around, often looking up directly at the cameras. I'm trying to see if I can find where this person's quarters were from all the videos, but there aren't enough. I need to find more videos in the file system.

Spent some time going through all those random video files I found, trying to log familiar people, draw up timelines, and find patterns. The moment the cameras are taken offline, it seems like it's not alarming to anyone; maybe they did it under the guise of "maintenance"...

There's no damage to the ship, so the occupants must have surrendered peacefully or something along those lines. Maybe that's why the logs are missing and there's damage to the panel in the control room. I’m trying to find out what happened here...

I have been inspecting the ship more with the narrative that it was in some sort of fight, and now, looking at everything, it seems it was boarded, and something took place inside the ship. Hence, they shot out the antenna array to cut off communication.

I found something on the outside of the ship today. Initially, I suspected that the damage was caused by some form of micro meteor shower, but after closer inspection, it actually looks like these were some types of targeted shots by a sort of plasma cannon or something.

It's been a while, and I haven't heard anything on any frequencies. I managed to create a scanner of sorts from some components, and there is some activity on some of the channels, but as I thought, it's probably encrypted.

I think, maybe for the time being, I'll just try to listen to the frequencies and assess the situation. See if there is anyone speaking English and find out what they are talking about. Then again, these transmissions could be encrypted, so I'll have to consider that as well...

Eureka! I managed to get comms up and running. It seems like there are channels you can tune in to that are linked to frequencies. I think I should be cautious about just sending out transmissions. Maybe some bad actors are lurking around…

I managed to make the repairs on the antenna array; everything seems like it's now in the right place and should be working. I'm going to take a break before trying to get the comms up and running in the control room.

I have a plan for the components, they require some finer work. These gloves don't really allow for that, but I've been practicing inside and I'm pretty sure I can do it. Otherwise, there's nothing new really happening on the ship. Everything is quite stable and running smoothly

Just got back from the second welding session. Was quite tougher than the first. I think the structure of the antenna array is roughly how it should be now, and I can start planning the repairs on the components. Took a few more snaps to plan the fix better. But first, rest.

Just got back from the fix. I managed to weld about half of the required sections. I'm getting quite nimble in the suit and feeling much more comfortable outside the ship. I'm taking a break for a bit, then I'll go and finish the remaining sections.

All it's going to take is some lengths of steel supports to weld all the broken struts together and mount them back into place. I managed to find a lightweight welding torch. Although I can't rebend the sections that broke, I can at least get the basic structure back to normal.

From what I observed on the array, most of the technical components are still intact; it seems to be just the support structure that was damaged. I should be able to patch something together. I have enough photos to plan the repairs before I head out again. It's safer that way.

First trip to analyze the damage was a success! I managed to get to the array, and it doesn't seem as damaged as I thought. I snapped a bunch of photos and was able to get a feel for what I could clear away and how I could repair it. I'll spend some time planning the next trip.

I have looked through everything I can, and nowhere is there a manual for the antenna array. I'll just have to try and figure it out as I go. At least I think I was an engineer of sorts; my memories are only foggy flashbacks. Let's see how this goes. I'll start in a few hours.
