7+ years teaching in Y1 and whilst making clocks with them this morning, which dingbat said “you just need to write the numbers 1-12” and set them off? THIS DINGBAT. ME. It took 20 seconds for me to freeze and say “WAIT, NO, I WAS WRONG, STOP!” … too late.

I’m creating an outdoor art station on our field. Does anybody have any great ideas for what I can include? Stick frames, paintbrushes, leaf cutters (hole punches) all to be included already. I feel like I’m missing something obvious!

My hurt and upset does not come out of greed. It comes out of bleakness for my own financial situation. Sorrow for education recruitment and sustainment of good teachers. Massive concern over school budget. All of which IMPACTS YOUR CHILDREN. Which is why I reject. Why I fight.
