Day 12/100: Index method complete for now. Worked through detail method. Currently researching if there are any APIs I can incorporate for a travel application later in process. Anyone have any suggestions for a well-maintained map API with good documentation? #100DaysOfCode

Day 11/100: Spent today reading through some tutorials on connecting Django backend to a React frontend. Admittedly wanted to be further along in terms of building features, etc. but trying to be patient with myself as there is a bit of a learning curve so far. #100DaysOfCode

Day 10/100: Getting more familiar with Django vs. Rails. Seems that Django operates on a MVT framework vs. a MVC. Trying to note all the major differences so I can keep building forward momentum. #100DaysOfCode

Day 7/100: Took a slight detour today to spend some time in Python working through some algorithms. Long day and I'm tired but back at it tomorrow. Also... anyone else just noticing the meme game is strong today? #100DaysOfCode

Day 6/100: Worked through my backend some more today. Learned about views in Django. Some refactoring of the models as well. Tomorrow will focus more on diving deep into coding the actual model logic. #100DaysOfCode #codingisfun

Day 4/100: Made some further progress with Django today. I'm realizing my Python skills feel a bit less Django-specific sort of like Ruby and the transition to Rails. Learning a lot about Python for web apps though! #100DaysOfCode

While I don't feel knowledgeable enough to really compare, one thought/takeaway from today was how relatively monolithic Django appears vs. Rails so far. Not a negative, simply an observation. Hope to learn more about the reasoning as I go. #100DaysOfCode

Day 1/100: Started following along with a Django tutorial, subbing in model name relevant to my project and committed my first code. Spent most of today's time fixing error messages because apparently my Mac still has to learn to play nice with Django. #100DaysOfCode
