We're making some finishing touches before releasing in two days! We made sure that players can play in multiple languages, including English, Japanese, French and Spanish. 😀

We're back from GDC! It was an awesome time and we met a lot of really cool people. We even got to show Tori at the Intel Student Game Showcase! It's time to get back to the biz, though, so let's kick things off by starting work on the castle island 🏯

Big news today everyone, Tori is getting an update! Along with the Beta version comes bug fixes, new features and a brand new island to boot. Be sure to check the game out on our Itch page: torigamedevs.itch.io/tori Plus our final version is set to release on April 19th on Steam!

In the alpha version of Tori, flapping was done by holding down the left-mouse button, which wasn’t super clear and also didn’t make a huge amount of sense to most people. This is why why we opted to change it to a one-click = one-flap system! (kinda like Flappy Bird)

This is Yokohama! It is the second most populated city in Japan! Our team went to Minato Mirai 「みなとみらい」, which translates to "Port of the Future"! It is a major commercial hub and is also absolutely beautiful!

Our next stop is the Meiji Shrine! This shrine, hidden deep inside a beautiful evergreen forest, is among the most popular in Japan! We had the wonderful experience of visiting on New Year's weekend, when the shrine sees it's peak amount of visitors!

Hello lovely followers! Over winter break two of our team members went on a wonderful adventure to Japan! Now we are going to share their experiences with you! Our first stop is the Hanazono Inari Shrine. Tori takes a lot of aesthetic influence from Inari shrines in particular!
