This recent study of ours sheds light on the concept of intrathecal therapy from a subcutaneous POV seen in the SMA population. It works. Future studies are needed to combine this access approach w surgical innovation to create liquorpheresis treatments in the future.

A while coming, our NIH R25-funded work on GBM LMD was published exposing the TLR-4 pathway as relevant, and more importantly for me, lays foundations for active cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) exchange studies to make clinical change. @AshishHShah4

Sharing our latest experience w robotic laser therapy for brain tumors in octogenarians in @WorldNeurosurg. we show it’s feasible in this cohort, and so need to figure out the best way it can augment current treatment options.
