A NUT carcinoma from the anterior neck of a young adult. A bit of squamous differentiation is indicated (arrow) but the low magnification appearance suggests a desmoplastic small round cell tumor. #UMiamiPath

Glycogenic hepatopathy. The patient had poorly controlled type 1 diabetes, eponymously termed Mauriac's syndrome. The patients present with elevated transaminases and alkaline phosphatase as well. The swollen hepatocytes compress the portal tracts. #UmiamiPath

A rare primary #tumor of the #liver: Calcifying nested stromal epithelial tumor. Well defined nests of spindled to epithelioid cells surrounded by desmoplastic stroma. #Psammoma-like #calcifications & #osteoid material may be present. AE1/AE3, WT1 & abnormal b-catenin (+).
