A small boy—looking deep in thought—to his mother as I walk into a salon to wax my brows: *Looks at my cheetah print coat (It was chilly). “Mama, why is she wearing that?” *Proceeds to lean back and put his hands on his chin.* I look at his mom and we 😂😂😂 😂😂

On the/my ASD menu, oversensitivity to stimuli is by far the most disruptive. There is no way around it—only through it. Lack of sleep and stress seem to amplify it immeasurably. When people try to communicate with me through my overstimulation it gets exponentially worse.

Played first with my wonderful ex back in 2015, the game Life is Strange somehow never gets old for me. Sure, dialogue in the original game is *super cringe* in places. The world-building coupled w soundtrack & narrativity—without a franchise like Walking Dead—is so good though.

I’ve decided one of my most memorable academic experiences, truly, is having discussed my childhood bowl cut with a BYU TA for twenty minutes… in German. It is forever seared into my memory in the best way.

Since I was 23, for me apple cider vinegar has been like Windex as praised by the loving dad in My Big Fat Greek Wedding—a panacea. I just took a shot of it and winced, but I’ll totally do it again later because my friend’s 90 yo grandma calls it her ‘jogging juice.’ !
