$GME - PE of 36 if you assume they can maintain the 0.16/share EPS from the latest quarter (v. optimistic). This is for a company with declining sales YoY. The move up post earnings was unwarranted/likely to reverse.

$GME - I will never understand why "investors" put money in stocks that are clearly eventual 0s with so many options with a greater probability of working out favorably. Even with overly optimistic assumptions it has plenty more room to the downside after the irrational rise

$CHWY, $ROKU - who looks at companies with forward P/Es of 300+ and minimal to no FCF and thinks 'this looks like a possible investment'? Are there that many people investing that don't even glance at financials. The chance of growing into these valuations seems close to 0

$T & $VZ both look interesting now. Hefty yields + undervalued based on most metrics. Current P/Es vs their own 5 yr. avgs $T: 4 vs. 5yr avg. of 24, div yld: 8.96% $VZ: 10 vs 5yr avg. 12, div yld: 5.02% $T upcoming spinoff can only help boost the multiple of the 2 businesses

$UL - valuation is attractive now. P/E of 18 versus 5 year average of 21. 4.54% div. yld. Low risk + attractive yield. I get that growth provides some rationale for the discount but that's priced in now.

$BNTX - a step down in Covid19 vaccines after 2022 (for mostly elderly) is already factored into the price now and the shares are attractive again. mRNA vaccines still provide further potential revenue streams (shingles).

How knotted is the hedge fund community? Activision has an agreed deal for $95 from Microsoft. There is no reason to doubt $MSFT can pay. Antitrust isn't likely an issue. They may sell one title or two. Stock is trading $82.23. It is >15% merger arb spread. $ATVI

$TRUP - CEO and other insiders are cashing out: sec.gov/Archives/edgar… Anyone buying is more optimistic than even the CEO. 16x book value for an insurance co. The people purchasing this insurance probably understand finance as well as the 'investors' buying the shares.

$T - late as usual - morgan stanley upgrade today, valuation/downward momentum has not made sense for some time - especially relative to the market in general. This is a company that actually still generates cash - not just a meme stock, etc.
