We have too many in prison for petty crimes and not enough of the habitual criminals being kept in prison. Tragic story. Her killer is the personification of evil. It’s not mental illness. It’s evil. But people dying in DC and Chicago are forgotten.

A culture is based on Judeo Christian philosophy of the individual - individual responsibility, egalitarianism, inalienable rights, the primacy of the individual over state power, enumerated powers, govt w clearly defined limited powers vs unbounded individual freedoms etc.
