I am not looking forward to this holiday season, especially since my store is somehow above headcount but always missing floor support

Most of the team I started with is gone now, thinking that maybe it’s time I move on too. I have some attachments to my store, but a change of scenery at a different store will be nice.

No matter how many times I remind PZ to grab serials, run MRI pre-session (when able) or just to book things under the correct symptom, it never happens. I have a feeling this download I’m building around those topics won’t be successful either.

I am at my limit of customers providing “constructive feedback” to me during a session on why the policies are “outrageous” and we “shouldn’t expect them to remember every password they create” for an account/Apple ID.

Actively watching specific people bully others out of my store. Management did little to nothing and didn’t prevent shit. What a joke.

Absolutely detest when a software update drops in the middle of the day. Completely fucks the bar’s wait time bc the first few restores take 30+ minutes

Folks that don’t understand that AppleCare expires exhaust me…if you don’t renew, it goes away. You have to pay monthly for it after the 2 year mark. No, I will not call apple support to argue why you should still have it when it expired 8 months ago. For fuck’s sake.

How many times do I have to repeat in a download to put the serial number in when booking appointments!!! (If you are able to get it!) so many want-to-be pros can’t even find it on an apple watch!! Jesus CHRIST.

I feel very fortunate to have such a supportive tech team. When I was training, the TE helping me never made me feel bad for being a little anxious, and even now he still supports side by side when needed, for myself and anyone else. Appreciate him so much!

Also, the amount of times I’ve had to repeat “please run pre-session diagnostics before searing the cx if able, thanks!” In download is too fucking high. God damn.

Tell me how I’m the only mf tech on queue with 8 for the next hour and 15 and they’re 10 minutes apart. Ugh.

Don’t come to the Apple Store for technical assistance if you’re just going to pick a fight with the technician whose help YOU require.
