Patients with #MECFS are often accused of “anti-science” activism. The delay in the publication of the carefully prepared NICE guideline on #MECFS because of resistance from parts of the medical establishment with vested interests shows who the real anti-science activists are.

.@NICEComms has to decide whether it's a science-based organisation, or whether it's beholden to a lobby group that refuses to let go of dangerous and long-discredited quack "treatments" for ME/CFS. Its credibility hangs on the outcome.

13. I would like to see those who defended the bad science of the PACE Trial stepping up and accepting they made mistakes – it’s the least they owe the patients. There also seems to be a strong case for retracting the original PACE Trial papers.
