@StanfordHP @KeithNHumphreys @Stanford Study calculates QALY w/"no clear evidence" of QoL improvement for intractable pain. There's "no evidence" because that metric has never been studied in patients with lifelong genetic disease. Studies only cover ~1 year of certain types of chronic pain, mostly musculoskeletal.
