I stand with Mayor Horwath on the necessity of City Council to leverage municipally owned lands already zone residential to deliver much needed affordable housing in #HamOnt. We must enable action to deliver outcomes to impact generations of Hamiltonians positively, now!

@NrinderWard3 I do not normally support @AndreaHorwath. But this is a step in the right direction to being a Mayor who acts in the best interests of the city's most needy, b/c right now *THIS* is the image I have for #HamOnt.
@NrinderWard3 Locate many more locations as well, Now! Not in 1 or 2 yrs. City is violating their Charter of Rights.
@NrinderWard3 This was the right decision by Mayor Horwath. I am so disappointed by the way this City continues to govern itself. City Councilors need to look at what's best for the whole city & not just what's in the best interest of their particular Wards.
@NrinderWard3 Increased crime coming to a neighborhood near you. Unless your wealthy that is.
@NrinderWard3 Unfortunately we are not tackling the real issues causing homelessness. This Mayor and council are not going to pull Hamilton out of its downhill spiral. Just a band-aid solution while the dumpster fire continues to burn out of control.
@NrinderWard3 When are the shovels gonna be in the ground? One year? Two years? James and Strachan years? Can we move the tents infront of city hall over to this new location while they wait for their new homes? Any answers Nann? Angria? @AndreaHorwath
@NrinderWard3 Undemocratic, will do little to solve the housing issue. If it's going to take 4 years to rebuild the Barton Street toilets, how long will it take to build 67 units? We need social housing for the homeless, not affordable housing Trontonians.
@NrinderWard3 An impact that will see fewer jobs and tax dollars thanks to taking away land from a business area instead of using all the vacant lots! How are talks with Vrancor? Fast tracking that?
