I understand that kids who need a Chromebook get one with most boards. But how are you going to fill that need if all of a sudden EVERY kid needs one because they can’t use their personal device? Who’s going to fund that many Chromebooks? Or iPads? Or whatever?

People don’t get the level of addiction that kids have to their phones these days. You take those devices away and violence in schools will only escalate. Get between someone and ANY addiction is trouble. The real problem is educators don’t have support from parents & admin.

Sounds great in principle. But once again, Lecce is going to push this big idea and have zero funding to back it up. It will all be on educators to figure out. Are educators going to physically take devices away? Who’s responsible for those devices while they are confiscated?

Say PP gets elected and axes the tax day 1. What then? Is big oil just magically going to drop prices? How will housing get fixed? How do jobs get created? What replaces the carbon tax rebates? A catchy slogan does not a solid plan make.

The big difference between me and cons is that I don’t blindly follow what leaders say. I assume there’s a lie and try to find it. If it holds true, I’ll believe it. I’ll also criticize Trudeau if he screws up and vote for the party with the best policies (or any policies).
