This afternoon Archie visited Blwyddyn 2 from @PDCSMARTELLO to teach us how to be #EnterprisingCreativeContributors on Minecraft, creating our own worlds🌍. Archie is now planning to set challenges for Blwyddyn 2 to complete in Amser Cwest👏🌟. #peerlearning @HeadPdcs

Blwyddyn 6 have been helping Mrs Morris @CrockfordMorris with her Christmas cake conundrum by carrying out a science investigation to find the most effective raising agent! Fantastic use of scientific vocabulary! #AmbitiousCapableLearners

There is nothing better than getting outside with good friends after some challenging learning! Martello provision love spending time together no matter the age.

We had to dig deep with our growth mindset today as maths was tricky! We were definitely in The Learning Pit. Dexter is making good headway with his new Lego challenge - watch this space! The boys have been influenced by the rugby World Cup - some great skills shown today.

It was all about autumn in class today. We explored where our story characters live and made them their very own habitats. We loved making autumn soup outside and experimenting with different patterns when painting.

Wow! Blake ended our “The Colour Monster” topic by retelling the whole story - well done. Dosbarth Martello have been perfecting their bubble tea flavours - what is your favourite Mr P @YR5PDCS ? We thoroughly enjoyed our cricket session too!

We made colour jars showing our feelings just like the Colour Monster and also enjoyed a little bit of trim trail time. Whilst Dosbarth Martello began investigating flavours to make their own bubble tea. Wow - we can’t wait to try them!

Dosbarth Martello have been creating self portraits - beautiful art work by Tarryn and Dexter! Whilst Archie and Dean were planting our bulbs ready for spring! Great job all!

What better way to explore happiness than with a happy selfie. Smile Miss Jade 😁We have also been learning about 2D shapes and using them to make our own colour monsters. We rounded off the day with a game of hide and seek in soft play! Wow, we have been busy!

Today we were exploring emotions and had great fun in our angry tuff tray. Miss Jody and Miss Kristy love PATHS and so do our children. We were learning about our PATHS rules and meeting Twiggles. Thank you Archie for some peer tutoring in maths - Ronny learnt so much from you.

It was all go today in Martello. Mini Martello pupils started exploring their feelings through the book The Colour Monster. Whilst Dosbarth Martello were choosing their own level of learning and getting hands on with our site manager to build new learning resources.
